On Monday, we bottled (and kegged) the 32nd beer in the Harpoon 100 Barrel Series, Pott’s Landbier. This beer is a collaboration between Harpoon and Pott’s Brauerei in Oedele, Germany. Pott’s Master Brewer, Peter Wienstroer, worked with Harpoon’s Head Brewer, Todd Charbonneau, to create the recipe and brew this beer.

Joerg Pott, the youngest in a long lineage of brewers from a centuries-old German brewery, came to Harpoon a few years ago and spent the summer learning about American craft beer. He and Peter came to Boston for the bottling of this beer – check out the photo gallery of their day yesterday, capped off by a Friend of Harpoon tasting!
